SIGNS OF CEREBRAL PALSY
The signs of cerebral palsy tend to be shown in the way a child motor skills. Kids suffering from cerebral palsy tend to show several signs of illness which ranges from mild to severe.
One can detect cerebral palsy before eighteen months of age and within such time period, a normal child tends to learn how to crawl, sit, walk or smile. This is known as developmental milestones.
Kids who show signs of cerebral palsy tend to have abnormal muscle tone. Here the child tends to look floppy and does not show any signs of normal activity. This condition is referred to as hypotonia.
Another sign of cerebral palsy is that the patient finds it hard to control defecation. They find it difficult to control their bladder.
Even though there is no exact combination of signs of cerebral palsy, parent should take their children to the physician once any kind of abnormal behavior id detected. This way, it becomes possible to detect whether it is a developmental disorder or not. Also necessary medication and therapy should be provided.
Cerebral palsy symptoms include trouble having developing simple motor skills such as holding things, sitting up, walking etc.
Other signs of cerebral palsy include difficulties in speaking, excessive drooling or sucking and swallowing.
